Spend a full day exploring Blackpool Zoo’s 37 acres, from Asian elephants and big cats to dinosaurs, sea lions, lemurs, wallabies, and birds. “It’s a lovely zoo and not too hilly. We live in Edinburgh and find that in our 60’s our zoo is very hard going. Blackpool has my favourite animals in the world namely the elephants which are a magnificent sight to see. It’s a great walk round and also has a good kids park in the middle which allows us a bit of a rest while our grandkids run off more energy. Unfortunately the refreshment prices are exorbitant and a picnic is always necessary.
